Mindfully made ceramics bringing the beauty of nature into everyday rituals.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Staci Coble

Based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, New Zealand, Staci Coble is the heart and hands behind Flow Studio Ceramics, a mindful studio rooted in slow and intentional practices.

From as early as childhood, Staci has been drawn to working with clay—experimenting with hand-building using shells to imprint clay and found natural tools, and later falling in love with wheel-throwing. In 2021 she formalised this passion into Flow Studio Ceramics, driven by a desire to merge function, beauty, and care for materials.

Her work is deeply inspired by nature and the ocean—the textures of sand and shells, the flowing currents, the shifting light on water—all whispering their forms and rhythms into each piece. Staci’s process embraces spontaneity and flexibility: she often begins with a loose idea, allowing the clay and the moment to guide how a form emerges.

She experiments with traditional and adventurous firing techniques— Raku, Salt & Gas — to bring unpredictability, depth, and nuance to her surfaces.

At the core of Flow Studio Ceramics is a desire to craft pieces that carry a sense of calm, connection, and delight—vases, bowls, sculptural forms, and more—that carry a whisper of sea foam, tide, and organic form into everyday spaces.
